Tekendra Shah is a popular traditional cultural singer who was born in Achham, Ramaroshan (Far-Western Region of Nepal).
Tekendra Shah aimed to pursue his higher education and went to Kathmandu the land of opportunities for his dream to come true in the year 2006. He completed Bachelor from Mahendra Ratna Campus, Tahachal. And also joined music class from popular singer/composer Binay k2 to learn singing. His love for music dragged him to record songs where he released two albums named “Chhaina Sahara” in the year 2008 and “Chaitali Melaima” in the year 2009 and recognized himself as a singer. As a singer Tekendra Shah has released dozens of songs and music videos which has been released in the leading National Television, Radio Stations of Nepal and various online distribution platforms and YouTube Channel which made him a prolific and popular singer.
Some of hit numbers are as follows: “Chhaina Sahara”(2008), “Lau Gori” (2018), “HajurKai Paran Pyari Bani”(2020),“Timrai Jhalko” (2020), “Naja Suwa Fanki” (2022), “Hanpaitali Jhyamma” (2022). Being responsible to the society he started to sing cultural and traditional Deuda songs like “ Najasuwa Fanki”, “ Chhaina Sahara”, “Hanpaitali Jhyamma”, “Chaitali Melaima”, “Kholi Gogan”, “Kausiya” and many more .
His love towards art and craft made him a renowned and popular editor and Director of Nepal. He has completed over more than 5000 music videos and 100 above TVC’S as well as dozens of documentaries, short films and movies. And also associated with various leading production house and Music Company of Nepal as a Visual Editor like Vision Nepal Pvt Ltd, Music Joy Media, Sylph Entertainment, Bikalpa Creation, Asian Music, Music Nepal, Sai Vision, 8k Everest Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd, popular talk show – VFY Talks and DMM Talks. He also worked for a leading satellite television NEWS 24 in the year 2012 till 2013 as a senior visual editor.
